RE: Employer Feedback on Workforce Training
Survey: Click HERE
The Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) has the opportunity to assist with workforce training to meet the needs of a variety of public and private sector employers who engage in work related to resiliency—flood protection, flood recovery, coastal restoration, and water management.
The LWC is currently surveying employers to determine industries’ workforce training needs, both for your current workforce or future workforce. Above is a link to a short, nine-question survey. Please take this opportunity to respond as to your workforce needs and interests. If you are an agent or third party administrator (TPA), please forward this communication to the appropriate staff member associated with each of the employers you represent.
Employers may receive this survey more than once; however, we ask that employers submit only one survey. If you have any questions, please contact Chad Bynog, LWC Industry Sector Coordinator, at email@example.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
LSLBC will begin administering the NASCLA Accredited Trade Examination for Electrical Contractors beginning May 1, 2019. This new nationally recognized trade examination will provide greater contractor mobility by allowing electricians the opportunity to receive exam credit for licensure with participating states without having to take multiple electrical examinations.
If you are a currently licensed Electrical Contractor and would like for your qualifying party to take the NASCLA electrical exam, or you’re an applicant with a valid approval letter for the current Electrical Work (Statewide) and would like to switch to the NASCLA version, please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Effective on January 20, 2016 licensing requirements for residential subcontractors, read about it in our May Bulletin
